What a blessing it was to celebrate Easter as a family this year. Not only because Henry is really starting to understand some of the fun things that come along with the holiday (egg hunting, etc), he is also really excited when we do things like pray together as a family. It is so precious to hear that little voice say "Amen" and to get excited when we say, "Henry, let's say our prayers". We hope to guide him and teach him about being close to God and understanding what it means to be a Christian on a special holiday like Easter. Until he is old enough to grasp it, we'll still make it fun with all of the other things like Easter eggs, Easter baskets, etc.
The Easter Bunny came!
He loved the empty eggs
Playing with his Mickey puzzle and giving Daddy kisses
This is what happens when I try to get a picture with him - "nooooo"
The Mickey stacking toy was his favorite
All dressed up for Easter Sunday church service
Family photo
Favorite thing our church does on Easter - Flowering of the Cross
Shopping at Lowes - "hold onto Daddy's ears Henry" haha!
Dyeing Easter eggs wasn't the success we'd hoped. Henry just didn't care very much about it so it ended up being Chance and I dyeing them. Chance didn't do it very often growing up, so I had to help him remember what to do :)
The finished product that Henry cared nothing about!
