6-Month Checkup

Henry had his 6-month checkup and shots this Monday and he is doing great!  Almost 19 lbs (18lbs 13oz) and 28 inches long.  He isn't as high on the height chart as he has been, but the doctor said it's the least accurate thing they measure with a squirmy baby, so not to be concerned.  I'm OK if he slows down on the height so he can start wearing his clothes a little longer!  He's in 9 and 12 month clothes and I just ordered some 12-18 month pj's because his are all getting tight lengthwise.  Whew he's growing so fast!



This was Chance's first doctor's appointment with Henry getting shots (except for birth), and I thought he was going to punch the nurse when she made Henry cry haha!  There was only room for one of us to hold him while she did the vaccines, so he stood behind me.  When I picked Henry up after the 3rd shot and turned around, Chance was holding his hand to his chest like he was going to cry.  Poor Daddy!  Try doing this for the 4th time (3 vaccines and 1 steroid shot for croup)...it's no fun!  We were both excited to hear that he doesn't have to go back until he is a year old...thank goodness!

It's getting harder and harder to entertain this little wild man!
