Halloween 2015 with Mickey Mouse

Halloween 2015 was full of adventure with our headstrong toddler, most of which involved his costume.  I spent weeks gathering all of the items for him to be a cowboy, but the day before Halloween (Friday) when it was time to dress up for daycare, he wasn't having it.  I had bought a pumpkin costume just in case, but that wasn't acceptable either, so we settled for a K-State fan for daycare and called it good.

After picking him up from daycare on Friday, we headed to the store to find the makings for a Mickey Mouse costume - probably what I should've done from the beginning.  I pulled out my craft bucket and went to town making his costume that night.  Thank goodness for spray paint and hot glue guns!

On Halloween Day, Chance and I were trying to get our master bathroom finished before Henry's bday party the next day and one of the big things to do was install our shower door.  When we tried to install it, somehow the panel shattered and it caused quite the setback in our plan.  Needless to say, we pulled out the vacuums and band-aids and took a little time to regroup!

While Chance cleaned up glass, I got our little Mickey Mouse ready for trick-or-treating.  He immediately loved the costume and kept checking himself out in the mirror by our front door:).

Just like last year, we headed over to the Crosspoint Church Fall Festival at the State Fairgrounds.  Its the perfect place for a toddler who likes to explore on his own and we always run into people we know so it's fun for us too.  Henry had so much fun playing the games and getting a candy "prize" for his pumpkin bucket.  His favorite was the bouncy-house...we literally couldn't get him to come out!

Stopped to see our friends, The McQueen's after supper

Closed down the night with one of his favorite books with PopPop, Ama, Carrie & Sam reading to him.

What an adventure Halloween 2015 was...can only imagine how next year will be! :)
