Not every project we've done at the new house has been a major one, so I've gradually been building this blog post to include some of the little things we've been doing. I'm sure there will be more, but this is a good start.
First off, let me say that renting the dumpster (shown below) was one of the best decisions yet! There was an initial fee for delivery and for the first week, then we paid only $2 per day to keep it. We filled that baby UP!
After we took possession of the house, we noticed that there were several spots in the yard that didn't look as healthy as others. Now, I haven't talked about this much, but where we live is deemed the Sand Hills, and the ground is very sandy. It is hard to grow much of anything, so we have an irrigated yard. We started watching the sprinklers as they ran for the first week, and noticed that they were flooding pretty bad at each sprinkler head.
Chance has been replacing the sprinkler heads one-by-one, and it's a very time consuming job.
