Our Crazy Life: Stephens Family visit

My family was here for two weeks at the end of June, and it went by way too fast! They were such a blessing and I know for sure that we wouldn't have been packed and ready to move without their help. They worked at our new house, packed at our rental, and my mom even managed to cook supper for us most nights. I'm convinced that she has super powers!

The day after we moved I had to go out of town for work for 3 days, so Mama held down the fort and took care of things for me :)

A few days before they left we went to The Salt Museum here in Hutchinson. It is built inside of the Salt Mine and is a fairly new attraction to Kansas. We had a great time!

Most of the pictures from the 1st week they were here can be found scattered throughout our remodeling posts. The pictures below are from after we moved, the Salt Mine trip, our girls' night in Wichita, and Sam & Chance's trip to Manhattan to move cattle.

These two pictures were from Moving Day - we had dinner with the McQueen family. They were so sweet and fed us after we moved (AND helped us move) so we didn't have to cook! What a blessing they are!

There is a company called Underground Vaults and Storage that owns part of the mine. There are so many awesome things stored down there and things are sent from all over the world!

I'm taking this as my reassurance that patience is a virtue when remodeling with your husband!

While we were in Wichita having a girls' night, Chance and Sam went to the ranch in Manhattan to move and work cattle. Obviously they had a little fun while they were there too!
